Kyle’s Space Simile Poem

The Spaceship

As flat as a plate
It landed with lights like stars
The doors opened quick as a flash
As if by magic, little men appeared like matchsticks
As green as grass the little men were
They hobbled like penguins with eyes as big as plates
They spoke like squeaky mice
Then quick as lightining they turned away
As if they were lost on another world
Which they were.

They got on their ship
As quick as a flash
And flew back to the stars.

One of my best lessons is art because we are learning all about space and rivers. I also love it because I enjoy using the pastels, paints and pencil crayons.I hope we are going to have one of the best lessons next friday! see you soon!
