Until I went to school………….

We have been learning about explanation texts and we read a great book called Until I met Dudley. It is all about the ideas that a small girl had of how things worked. We really liked this book and so for our homework we had todo our own versions of Until I met Dudley explanations.
Please leave a comment to let us know what you think about our explanation texts.

Some of our work is below.

I have used your fantastic work to show my class. I hope it will inspire them to write explanations which are as imaginative as yours.

I was looking for thoughts on how to teach explanations. These are marvellous. You certainly have an imaginative class – with very neat writing, too. Well done to all!
