Red Nose Day

We were desperately hoping that the weather would be kind to us today for Red Nose Day and luckily it was.

We had our annual talent show with everyone who appeared on stage paying 50p for the the chance to show their act to the school. The acts were amazing and there was a huge variety of different acts this year. Dance routines to One Direction were very popular šŸ™‚

Then the juniors all rushed to get ready for the great charity sale. Classroom chairs and tables all vanished onto the playground and were then filled with an amazing assortment of games, toys, books, competitions and of course cakes!

It was a bit wet and very windy. We had posters and paper blowing every where! We all had a great time though and ate far too many cakes!

All the money was tipped into a bucket and taken down to the office. Hopefully we have raised a lot of money which will all go to Comic Relief.

Red Nose day was amazing we all had a great time.We raised lots of money and my sponge cake got eaten very quick. Mrs Devoil loved it 😃. We ate lots and lots I’m surprised we ate our dinner because I was full. Surprisingly Mr Bolsover ate the biggest slice of my brownies.

      Hi Aspen,
Comic Relief is a English charity for children in need of our help all over the country. We raise money at school by selling lots of cool and funny stuff. At our school I think we raised something like £700 which i think is very impressive. Have you got any interesting charities that you could tell us about?
