On the 7th of February four of us, Maya, Valeria, Rachel and Hannah all did a Valentines day fair together selling badges. We had a competition with four girls from the other class named Olivia, Annabelle, Caitlin and Francessca. We raised a lot of money for Harley Staples charity. We got chosen to do the enterprise project because we weren’t that confident about our maths.
We had to design a product that we thought children in school would buy for Valentine’s day. We spent ages trying out different designs until we were happy with our product.
We don’t know who has won this yet but we are going to get VICTORY!! The other group were selling bookmarks, and each group sold the badges and bookmarks for 50p. We made the badges by using a badge it maker that Maya brought in. Altogether we made 198 badges. The other group made 142 bookmarks. We both sold out on the day and we both made profit for the charity.
We all had fun and our teacher who helped us through it all was called Mrs Fisher. Who ever wins might get a PRIZE! So overall we hope we WIN!!!

I loved the badges girls they were fantastic !!! I had lots of badges of my boyfriend and that made me really happy crossed fingers for the completion !!!! Kacey xxx

The badges turned out very well and now i am very excited to find out the results of the challenge! As my mum said, next stop Dragons den. Me, Rachel, Valeria and Maya are thinking of carrying on with the badges. Thank you Mrs Fisher for helping us and putting lots of hard work into arranging the dates for us. We all appreciate it.
