Wednesday was Viking Day. Gregolf and Leagrid came into school to show us all about the Vikings.

We learned about viking names and music and dancing. Gregolf also told us about his life as a viking raider. Then we went outside to learn how to play Kubb. It was a bit like skittles.

After lunch, we did viking crafts. Some of us made brooches, others made model boats. We also played a viking quest game on the laptops.

Finally we all went back into the hall and Gregolf told us about his new peaceful life as a trader.
We finished with the story of Thor’s Hammer.
It was a brilliant day and everybody loved having Gregolf and Leagrid visit us.
