Snail Pictures.

Henri Matisse created this picture in 1953 when he was getting towards the end of his career. He was unwell and had to give up painting so he began to create pictures using cut outs of paper. He called these pictures ‘Painting with scissors@

We used publisher to create the same type of picture using the draw tools. We experimented with lots of different fill effects. Here are some of our pictures.

      Hey Jim,
My name is Umer and I am in year 6 in Penn Wood Primary and Nursery School in England, Slough. I loved the art work you have produced. Can you give me some tips so I can make one of my own?

    Dear grade 5JDV
I really like your snail art it is very colourful and nice. Is it hard to do? It looks really effective how you have used the metallic tie-dye squares of colour. I would like to ask you (5JDV) a couple of questions.
    • What subjects do you do?
    • Do you have a uniform?
    • Where in England is your school? From Caitlyn
