How to celebrate the Jubilee

This was Eleanor’s homework that she did over the Jubilee weekend.

How to celebrate the Jubilee

Are you getting fed up with staying in all day? Are you sick of staring at the same old TV screen with boring channels on?
If this sounds like you, then follow these simple instructions and soon you will be able to celebrate the diamond jubilee in the proper way.

What you need:
Some union jack bunting
Friends and family
A free day to go shopping
A big garden

1. Once you have a free day, go to the shops and buy a selection of cakes, biscuits, pastries, crackers, cheese and more.
2. When you enough, come home but make sure that you have plenty of food and drink for your party.
3. Make sure that your friends and family know what time to come around.
4. Be sure that there is a shelter in case of the Great British Weather!
5. Find the Union Jack Bunting and put it up all around the house and garden.
6. Make your garden safe and suitable for little ones.
7. Start setting out the food and drink neatly in your garden.
8. Begin to invite friends and family into your house.
9. When everybody’s arrived, start letting people help themselves to food and drink.
10. Enjoy your jubilee party!
