More about Llandudno

The weather forecast for Thursday was for it to rain all morning. However we were lucky and it stayed dry for our final day in Llandudno. Our first trip was a journey on the Llanberis Railway.

Inside the railway carriage

The train went from the National Slate Museum along the bank of the lake where we stopped for a few minutes.

Enjoying the view of the lake.

After lunch we went to visit Penryn Castle. It looks like a castle from the outside but it was only built 150 years ago and was never a real castle.

The house was huge and full of amazing things including a bed made of slate and a painting by Rembrandt that someone wanted to buy for 60 million pounds!!!!

We finished our visit on the adventure playground where Mrs de Voil’s group tested out all of the exercise equipment.

Thursday evening was the one that everyone had been waiting for. It was the visit to the arcades where everyone was allowed to spend £2 followed by the disco. It was incredible how long people managed to make their £2 last!

Eventually we went back to the hotel and got ready for the disco.
