50 excited children and 7 less excited staff all piled onto the coach at 8:15 on Monday morning. This was the start of Llandudno 2012, the year 5 residential trip. After a very long coach journey, we finally arrived at our first location, the Llechwedd Slate Caverns.

The best part was probably cavern 8 where there is an underground lake lit with different coloured lights.
After the slate caverns, we travelled on to our hotel. There was time to unpack and explore a bit before dinner. After dinner we made our first visit to the beach.
Watching yet another football float away to Ireland. This seems to happen every year!
