Our Lego Day part 1

Nao dancing

Yesterday we had a very exciting morning. We came into the classroom to find sets of lego and a laptop between every 2 seats. Excitedly we sat down, buzzing and whispering. Colin and John from Lego introduced themselves. But there was one other person that the whole class loved and that was Nao. Nao is a robot. He can dance, talk, play charades and even have a conversation with you.        by Hope

Doing an arabesque!

Lego day was so much fun!!!! The little robot was funny and cute. He danced, played and told stories (cool). We also made some electronic spinners and had a competition to see whose spinner could spin for the longest. Kyle and Owen won 2 rounds but Eleanor and I won 1. by Kimberley

Building the robot arms

We had lego wedo sets where we had instructions on the computer and we had to build a robot arm. The arm span a spinner that we made from lego. We modified our spinners to last longer and then we had a competition to see whose spinner went for longest.  by Joe

Kyle and Owen designed the winning spinner which span for 50 seconds. John said that this was a record length of time.
