After the rainy week that we have this week, it was a lovely surprise to wake up with the sun shining for our annual charity day!
We began as usual with everybody paying to not wear school uniform. This was followed by the traditional talent show. 5JdV was represented by Kimberley who did a fantastic job singing Rolling in the Deep. She sang totally unaccompanied as well so she was very brave. You were great Kim!
After that, it was all hands on deck (or the playground) to get everything ready for the grand sale. We had cakes galore, toy and book sales and a whole variety of competitions. The sun continued to shine and we had a fantastic morning raising money for Help for Heroes and our school sculpture.

Wow you are a very creative school, the charity day must have been a great thing to be part of. I can’t see the cakes very well but from what I can see they look scrumptious!
