The Bears have arrived!

We had a huge brown parcel in the post this morning all the way from Italy. We were expecting teddies but instead we received 2 befana dolls.

This morning we had a surprise in the post. Our teddies or witches from Italy came.

They came with broomsticks and a full bag of sweets!. The Italian children from classes 5A , 4B and grade 3 gave us a pink  witch and yellow witch.

The children from Italy call them Befana. They are a traditonal santa claus for them. If the children are’nt good they will receive coal in thier stockings! If they have been good then they will get sweets.

As well as Befana, we received 2 scrapbooks which we will fill with details of all the things we do up to Christmas as well as class photographs of all the children.
