On Thursday 9th June,Some year 4 children and some year 5 children not forgetting Mr Bollsover, Mr Sutcliffe Mr Birch and Mr Edwards went to Saffron Lane to compete in a sport.
Two children did the 800M run,Heather and Riley. They both did tremdendously well and we were all very Proud of them!Meanwhile the long jump and the throwing were going on. William, Ellie, Reece, Jade(who won)did this.
Next it was the year 4 girls and boys and they did very well.
Then came the year 5 races.
The boys were first.There was a lot of tall and fast children to compete against but we beat most of them YAHOO. Josh and Cameron both got through to the final.

Next were the girls they did GREAT. Elise was amazing.She won her heat and the final and has to run at the area finals in a few weeks. Jessica and Megan did really well too.
Then it was the year 5 relays. The girls team was Megan,Jessica,Jade,Mollie and Elise. They did really well in the final and came 3rd. The boys did great aswell with Josh,Cameron,Wills,Cullen and Richie.
Whether or not we won or lost all of us cheered the team on and all of us who went loved it!
Best of all at the end the presentation was on and guess what…… We won the big trophies for the girls and boys!!!!!
