Rugby at welford road

The Tag Rugby Squad

On the 19/05/11 the year 5 tag rugby team went to Welford Road Tigers stadium.There were so many people there watching and the pitch was massive.!!! When we got there all of the other teams were really tall.We were the only year 5 team there.
When the man had gone through all of the rules, we played against the school called Ashby Hill Top. We lost that match becuase they were really good.After that match we played the school that wasn’t very tall so we thought we were going to win but…. We lost!!!!! We were not upset about it becuase we had 2 more matches and we could win them.Then we played the school called Langham they won big time. 😦

Our last match was against St.Josephs. They had this really tall person who was extremely fast and she was a girl!!!!
We lost all of the matches but its not the winning that counts, it’s the taking part!
